As part of our coaching development initiative this season we are proud to provide a coaching development seminar.  The seminar is free of charge for all Renegades coaches in the zone (head and assistant).  We are honoured to have Brandin Cote be our guest speaker. Brandin is the head coach of the USask Huskies Men’s Hockey team.  He has extensive experience as both a player and a coach, enjoying success at all levels of play (both Jr and Professionally).  This will be a great opportunity for coaches (U7 to U18) to meet and learn in an informal environment from one of the best in the business.

Renegades Zone-Ice Hockey Systems Subscription

As part of the Renegades player (and coach) development fund, for the 2023/24 season the zone has purchased an association subscription with IHS (Ice Hockey Systems). Each team in the zone (U7 to U18, excluding city wide teams) receives an annual membership to the site. This site is hockey’s premier coaching resource with an extensive library of drills, systems and coaching videos allowing coaches to draw drills, create & share practice plans, and collaborate with other coaches. Hockey coaches have busy lives and this tool will improve organization and save them time planning resulting in more efficient practices.
